I have an Anet A8 3D printer which is a Prusa i3 clone. How do I add that printer to 3D builder in order to generate a proper gcode which I can then put on an SD card to insert into the printer? The documentation on this program is less than poor. And no, the Anet A8 will not connect to the computer to print directly. As of the moment, we will have to wait until your printer is added to the 3D printing partners for 3D Builder.
